The Kristallklar are a humanoid alien race I came up with. The atmosphere in their planet is supersaturated with crystalline particles. Over time, these particles accumulate on certain parts of their bodies, creating armor like shells that provide protection. Certain Kristallklar can harvest the energy within the particles and use it as they will.
